SanDisk SecureAccess v3.02 is a fast, simple way to store and protect critical and sensitive files on SanDisk USB flash drives.
Access to your private vault is protected by a personal password, and your files are automatically encrypted - so even if you share your SanDisk® USB flash drive or it becomes lost or stolen, access to your files are safe.
NOTE: SecureAccess is not required to use your flash drive as a storage device on Mac or PC. SecureAccess is a complimentary data encryption and password protection application.
Follow the on-screen instructions, download and save the compressed file onto your computer. Before installing the SanDisk SecureAccess software, connect your SanDisk USB flash drive to the computer. Extract the SanDisk SecureAccess file for Mac directly onto your connected SanDisk USB flash drive. STEP 2 - Delete the SecureAccess Vault and Application Files 1. Delete SanDiskSecureAccess Vault and SanDiskSecureAccessV2win.exe. STEP 3 - Download and install SecureAccess 3.0 Download and installation instructions Step 4 - Open SecureAccess 3.0 and import the data you would like to encrypt 1. Click the Add files button. The download size of the SecureAccess installer is about 8 MB. NOTE: Every new SanDisk USB drive includes this SecureAccess software. So if you have a new USB drive, you might have it on the USB and no need to download. Step 2: Connect your SanDisk USB flash drive to your Windows 10/8/7 PC. Open up This PC (Windows 10/8.1) or My Computer. Critical:
- The SanDisk SecureAcces Encryption program is a 128-bit AES encryption.
- If the password is forgotten, the information stored on the flash drive cannot be retrieved.
- There is no 'forgot password' option to reset the password.
- If the password cannot be remembered, with or without the password hint available, the files on the drive are not accessible.
- SanDisk Customer Care cannot provide a new password or alternative method to access encrypted data.
- The drive can still be used by reformatting and reinstalling SecureAccess.
- Formatting the drive will erase all data on the drive. Once the process begins, ALL THE DATA ON THE DRIVE WILL BE LOST!

SanDisk SecureAccess is free software that enabled you to encrypt files on SanDisk storage media devices, protecting it from other people.
Setting up drive protection with the program is pretty straightforward. Users will be required to specify a password twice, along with a hint. A password strength bar will guide you on creating a more secure password.
The program consists of a vault which allows you to drag and drop items into the application. Once the file is added, it is protected by encryption. You can enter the vault only with the correct password and it cannot be retrieved if lost. The only help you'll get in the event of a lost password is the hint provided when the vault was first set up.
SecureAccess can only be accessed from an external SanDisk drive before the application can be run. That means it won't work on another device, even if you've copied the data over or mirrored it.
All in all, SanDisk SecureAccess is a good way to protect files and folders from viewing by anybody else and is free for anybody who ones a SanDisk external storage device.
