Crash Assistance: As soon as your airbag is deployed, the Automatic Crash Response is activated. All-important vehicle data is immediately sent to the OnStar centre: location, driving direction and even severity of the accident.1
We talk to you: Specially trained OnStar advisors will speak with you via your hands-free speakerphone – even if you are abroad, the call will be in your chosen language.2
Every second counts: As soon as we have received all information, and it clear that you need help, an OnStar advisor will notify emergency services immediately.1

For all vehicles with OnStar the free 12-month service trial (excluding WiFi) can be activated until November 30, 2019. This will no longer be possible at a later date. Last chance to activate 3-months/ 3 GB (whichever comes first) Wifi service trial is March 31, 2020.

- OnStar RemoteLink is a mobile app providing vehicle information and remote access functionality for GM vehicles. Features include: Remote vehicle start. Door lock/unlock; Activate horn and lights.

Your OnStar advisor will use GPS to provide your exact location to the emergency medical service, who will set out for your location as quickly as possible.1

If your car is no longer where you left it – presumably it has been stolen. OnStar1 can help the police to find your car.
All you have to do: report the theft to the police. Your OnStar advisor can then assist the police to search for your car.
OnStar locates your Opel via GPS and follows its route. Thus, the police knows where your car is located.
Your OnStar advisor can permanently disable the ignition of your car once the engine has been switched off. This means the thief cannot drive any further.

OnStar will contact [INSERT LOCAL PROVIDER, e.g., the AA, ADAC] and they will dispatch a professional breakdown recovery team to your location.2

If your vehicle is outside the coverage of the Opel New Vehicle Roadside Assistance service, the provider of the breakdown recovery service may apply charges for the services provided.
